ABSTRACT: The aim of this reseach is to describe the increase of
the process, social interraction and relation of students in the sociology
teaching on first smester in academic year
2006/2007. This reserach used classroom action reserach approach. Based
on this reseach concluded that student centered learning by cooperative approach
increased the student activity. The effect of cooperative approach are:
increased social interraction activity (82,25%) and social interaction (77,1%).
The effect of SCL application are, (1) logical skill,
(2) oral communication skill, (3) work ability in Team Settings, (4) knowledge
of field, (5) knowledge of technology, (6) analytical skills, (7) written
communications skill, and (8) work ability independently. All of the effects of
CTL application need follow up study.
